The leader I chose to profile is a Chilean Catholic priest Alberto Hurtado. The Father Hurtado (1901-1952) was one of the most important actors in the Chilean and Latin America Catholic Church.

His most important traits were initiative, cooperativeness and influence. Initiative because of he founded revolutionary institutions such as University for Workers. It was an innovation because only rich people had access to higher education in middle twenty century. As example of his cooperativeness trait is Hogar de Cristo, which is today the most important charity institution in Chile. Hogar de Cristo is seen as a place of interaction for different social classes. He influenced Chilean society to work to overcoming poverty. Now his active followers are more than half a million people, being the biggest voluntary group in Chile.
